This is face of a little boy who has been up and down like a pair of tart's knickers today!

Christmas Eve can be hard work when you're eight and super-excited and a bit over-tired and you feel things so much more deeply than a lot of people even under normal circumstances...

Christmas Eve can be quite hard work for said eight-year-old's mother too ;-)

A brisk walk for a good hour or so put a spring back in his step and he's now outside playing with his friend in the twilight gloom. He's been told to come in when the outside lights go on...any time now ;-) He likes that...so much easier than remembering to look at your watch!
