Ausländer in Berlin

Interview day

Yesterday I received a last minute phone call to arrange a second interview for today. We're very fortunate to have Toni's parent's car in Berlin for the month so we set off bright and early to Postdam for my first interview. The beautiful and impressive offices are on the same road as one of Germany's film studios which also has a theme park. The area is basically Germany's answer to Beverly Hills. The interview itself went really well and to my delight it was carried out 90% in English. They were so interested in fact that tomorrow I'm off to Dresden to do another interview for them, unfortunately (for me) this one will probably be mainly in German as my interviewer's English is supposed to be limited.

Carrying out interviews wearing a black suite isn't the easiest when its 36 degrees C outside. So we went to one of the nearby lakes for a spot of lunch and a paddle.

The next interview was a complete opposite from my first one, located in one of the poorer (but very much up and coming) areas of Berlin the offices were based in a very nondescript building. The interview again went really well and hopefully shout hear something positive in the next few days.
