Sneaking off the edge of the earth
We're trying to master this slying-a-ski-in business. An hour off from chauffeuring families around or cooking up endless coffee pots or ironing serviettes can open up a whole world of opportunity. And when it's not work, it's ski. Timing sly jaunts up the mountain has to be impeccable, as otherwise there'll be a bunch of freezing children waiting to be picked up from Panda Club. This sort of blag is almost impossible to calculate accurately when you find yourself in a bubble lift heading up to a whole new set of negotiating descent paths, but with great determination + an ability to ignore the burning trembling feeling of exhaustion in your legs, it might just be possible to hit that home run in time.
When it's not ski, it's work. Team Danna really putting the hours in at Chalet Maya, and trying to nail our new roles. A funny thing happened today though, Dan flooded the basement of another luxury chalet [not on purpose]. I'll let him tell the funny details, and perhaps it's only comical in retrospect but I don't think it was at the time?
