The Christmas Spirit

Mr G took me out for a pre birthday/pre Christmas meal this evening.

We went to an old English pub that was recommended to me by my neighbour. Open log fire, friendly atmosphere, nearly every patron was dressed as Santa and delicious food.

After that we went back to the village and walked to our local pub for a few jars. Shaun, who owns the pub is a real character, and he has decorated the place really well.

I especially liked this sign below the bottles of spirits!
