The Christmas Hat

The Golden Goose thrift store, never fails to entertain. Today, as I made my way through the filled-with-customers aisles, I spotted this volunteer.
"I'm lovin' your hat," I said.
"$2.00, if you're interested," she said, as she stroked one of the yarn braids.
"I don't think I'd do it justice," I said, thinking she looked an awful lot like Mrs. Claus. Well, if Mrs. Claus lost her pretty red dress and had to make do with Santa's old hat.
