Snippets of Life

I worked till 12 and then rushed off to London. I still maintain i beat G in our race to Waterloo, (if i beat him to Waterloo he had to buy me lunch). Just because he didn't see me the moment he arrived i apparently couldn't have been there. I spotted him first anyway.
It was a glorious day, an island of sunshine and blue sky in this sea of wind and rain and murk that sums up the weather these days. We wondered down south bank to Borough market for some food and then had presents in that park near the palace before wondering round the winter wonderland in Hyde park. I tried to post a set of 3 of the carousel but it tells me it's too small (??).
In the evening we made our way past the lit up Harrods (where we stood on a crossing in the middle of the road taking long exposure photos for a bit) and through the very posh neighbourhood to the Royal Albert Hall. We went to a lovely concert, The Glory of Christmas, a mix of carols and amazing music. We were sat right miles up on the 3rd highest row right round the side, you could only see half the stage but you could see everyone else which was pretty cool.
The highlight was probably this. He just played it without introduction or warning and it was wonderful. We could just about spy his little hands going crazy from our sky high perch.
It finished up with the conductor dividing the entire audience into 12 sections and assigning each a day and doing the 12 days of christmas with each section standing up for their part (complete with actions). It was pretty fabulous.
