The state of the economy

What the guys in the Department of Finance need is a bit of foresight, and the ability to distance themselves from the issues at hand.
And there is no such thing as foresight and distance if you have your nose deep into a multitude of spreadsheets covered in figures.
My mates Michael and Vivian and I have our respective noses deep into a round of fresh pints, and believe me, it does help to gain some foresight and distance.
By round 3 we usually reach the higher sphere of macroeconomics. It all becomes much clearer.
We have considered sharing our findings with Biffo and his team. But for that one of us would have to write down the minutes of the meeting. And that's what I do the rest of the week, so no way José.
The national economy will suffer but sometimes one has to learn to tame one's legendary altruism...
