LIGHT ON THE LOCH
To Helensburgh this morning and then on to Luss for a pre-Christmas coffee and exchange of presents with an old friend. Coffee stretched into the lunch hour, so the sun was already low in the sky when I stopped by the Loch to get out my camera. The light on the water was wonderful and quite eclipsed the fairly nice images I got of the Ben, which is perhpas just as well for cliché - avoidance. I wanted my blip just to be only the light on the water, but as I was lining up the image, this black headed gull swopped in. I didn't realise until it was on the screen I also had his shadow.
