Skipton Mill and Canal

We took a short train ride to the market town of Skipton today because a friend recommended a family opticians who specialised in sports glasses...exciting....and I have ordered a pair having made the decision to dump the contact lenses once and for all. So even if I get badly lost and fall over several times, I will look cool when I finish!! Particularly if the purple ones are in stock!

It's been a day in total contrast to yesterday and so we didn't hang around but, on our way back to the station, we were drawn by an area of old mill buildings close to the canal and river which are in different stages of renewal. This one now houses smart offices. It's good to see.
