I did the big shop today for christmas - we have 17 folk coming (and no I'm not giving them potato waffles or cat food). it was mental in the supermarket, I hope not to have to go back for a long time...

I was asked for ID when buying port in morrison's today! I didn't have any ID, so she wouldn't let me buy it...I was so embarrassed, but of course secretly quite pleased since I'm bloomin' 37! I think when the lady actually looked at me, she realised her mistake but couldn't go back on it and poor Lisa had to buy it for me...the shame!

kids finished for the holidays now - excitement levels rising...
