Gingerbread house making party

This afternoon we attended an annual Christmas event hosted by good friends. They provide the gingerbread walls (all completely homemade) and glue (icing), mulled wine, delicious nibbles etc etc. All we had to do was provide some items to decorate our house and then construct it!

Myself and O were completely absorbed in the task at hand while hubby was completely absorbed in the task of keeping D from demolishing the houses and eating the decorations!

It was a lot of fun and a tradition we hope to continue for years to come.
