Holding Up Trainers Shot
Today's photo is brought to you through the medium of standing in mud in my socks while someone smokes heroin slightly further up the hill. Well, they might just have been sitting there waving their lighter around a lot. Maybe.
The rock is an odd looking large, smooth stone which sits on the side of Dunsapie Hill. The only thing I have been able to find out about it is that there is nothing to be found out about it.
I had to use my compact for various reasons which is why the horizon is possibly the wonkiest that will ever be seen on Blip and why I am out of focus because it turns out that when you use the timer it focuses when you press the shutter and not just before it takes the picture. Which seems pretty stupid to me because, by definition if you are using the timer then you want to be in front of the camera and if you want to be in front of the camera then you want to be in focus, right?
It blew over a few times as well becaues it was really windy so I had to have several tries. Anyway, after the effort I went through to get it, this as rubbish as it is, is going to have to be my 300th Blip.
Bah.
Thank you to all of the people who are so kind as to drop in and look at my erratic efforts and to those who stop for a wee bit of banter! You are all great. :-)
