Hotel del Sol

Driving back from Uvita to San José, we doubled back on the tollroad and headed to a small fishing town called Caldera.

Owned by a European couple - the husband is Croatian, the wife Spanish - the Hotel del Sol serves some delicious seafood - very apt given it's waterside location.

The lobsters in the giant tanks along one side of the room didn't look so happy however- Think they must know their fate!
