Happy 21st Rosie

I realise 2 days ago, the title of my blip was RIP Rosie. So just to avoid confusion, this is a completely different Rosie, obviously, and the photo is a very rare beast indeed!...for this is my B's goddaughter Rosie, whose 21st birthday it was earlier this week and her mother Liz, who never allows photographs to be taken.

Tonight, we were treated along with her nearest and dearest to an outstanding birthday meal at NOPI in Warwick Street. It's a Yotam Ottolenghi restaurant and we were lucky enough to be seated in the basement dining area, which has a very informal 'open-plan' large table setting (seating 12-15 people comfortably) looking into the kitchens. The food was different to anything I have ever had before and was truly outstanding.

Liz and B have been great friends for over 20 years. Both have been like second mothers to each others children and indeed Liz is our Joe's godmother (our third child) and B as I say is Rosie's godmother (their third child).

Both are wonderful working mother's, wives, and friends. We were truly blessed to be amongst the guests invited to Rosie's celebratory 21st birthday dinner. Thank you Rosie, Liz and Gavin. It was truly special to us both.
