At last!

Yes, I know it's probably daft to only get round to putting up Christmas decorations a matter of hours before going away for the festive season, but it's the principle of the thing! My mother would approve - when I was a kid we were lucky to be allowed the put the tree and decorations up much before this, and I know I'll spend some time on Friday or Saturday hanging the cards for her. Anyway, my flatmate will get the benefit from these lovely colourful lights and baubles while I'm away! In case you're wondering, this is what you do when you don't have a Christmas tree - stick it all to the windows! You can also see the reflection of the fairy lights on the bookcases behind the camera. I was crouching down behind the camera on its tripod to take this.

I think this is the first time I've blipped so early (I have blipped around this time before, but always back blipping at the end of the day), and am off to bed now. I hope to finally get a chance to catch up with what you've been up to tomorrow, once I'm back on the lovely Isle of Arran. Night all!
