Getting ready this afternoon to go out. Ended up going to pick James up with curlers in my hair, baggy trousers, pyjama top and a fleece! Then Sam needed an emergency run to the shop...I made her come with me so she could go in! There's limits to things...going into a shop with rollers in is one of them.

Finished work today. Relief.

Staff do tonight - handful of us sober, the rest getting more and more ratarsed as the night progressed. I did well till about ten pm then pain started creeping back and by 11, I had reached my "I need my bed and a hot water bottle" threshold.

Home, warm drink, blip, bed.

I suspect I know what Fisherking is going to blip. Was a good night - glad I went in the end. Our staff are ace!
