The meaning of Christmas

Last day at work today, schools out till next year!!!!!
It was the wee ones Christmas show today and they did such a wonderful job with the story, costumes, scenery, programmes.....basically everything!
I must confess I did get quite emotional as it really was a special occasion. I also need to say the staff did an outstanding job, well done guys x
The end of the story had the audience dressing the special christmas tree with the children. Most of the decorations were made by the kids and included the most beautiful apples. The tree will go outside into the garden during the holidays and the birds and deers get their Christmas too! What a fab recycling idea.
It really brought home the meaning of Christmas,
So tonight all the teachers presents are wrapped and I am now watching Elf.....can't get much better folks.
"D's" last day working for ED tomorrow, new job starts in the New Year!!
