The weather station

Brits are obsessed with weather, and as a good Brit, I'm no different. The winter solstice occurs tomorrow at 5:30 and marks the start of winter, but in fact, from here on, the days start getting longer. By Sunday, we will have gained a whole minute. Now there's a cheering thought. Today I passed the weather station in Weston Park; not the most inspiring sight, but it is apparently a very old one.
