This is Plumpton

On the days when I commute to and from London I usually try to travel from Plumpton, a friendly quiet railway station at the foot of the South Downs which has its own library and a wildflower garden. So much nicer than the impersonal commuter stations. On a few days each year Plumpton station is absolutely packed - its ideal for the racecourse - you can just see the inside rail in the middle right of this image.
