Window Shopping

Took the girls out for some last few presents today...nearly sorted.

This is the Original Bakewell Pudding Shop, alleged home to the Bakewell pudding (although I seem to remember seeing a story on the back of their menu about how a lady invented it up the road and previous owners 'bought' the rights to use it donkey's years ago). There are a couple of others in town that also lay claim to be the home of the pudding - so who knows? Tourist love 'em anyway, I hate the things - YUK! Lovely window display all year round though, and the cafe upstairs is simply wonderful.

To avoid upsetting the locals, don't get them confused with the tarts - there is no geographical link there at all.

Thank you Blippers - the wine from yesterday will go to a good home, a couple of friends who are not having the best run up to Christmas. You are all wise and lovely people :)
