Sunrise over rugby posts
This morning the sunrise was spectacular. Unfortunately most of it happened while I was driving but c'est la vie.
The colours were very different to this shot and led to a very different feel.
I went to the French quiz night last night with some of my students. We had a good time even though we weren't even within a mile of the winning teams. I realised that I was the only teacher sitting with their students after the quiz had finished. They were such fun to be with, why would I want to be anywhere else? As Chris said earlier, a testament to the students and the ethos we have at our school. It's a big school (1600 +) students, but we get to know them well and we have good relationships with our kids. Twin that with the fact that I don't really buy into the whole 'growing up' thing and it's all good.
Today I met HERE officially for the first time. She is related to S1 of S2 fame, who knows Kiwidino, who knows us. Small world. I hope we'll have a go at a double blip at some point next term. Nice to meet you, HERE.
One dog fed and walked. One heater turned on (12 degrees at the moment) and now I've got an evening of marking, report writing and eating to be getting on with. Might manage to slip a bit of blipping in too.
Happy Wednesday all.
