Sail Boarding at Cottesloe

In summer we get a good afternoon sea breeze. This arrives early to mid afternoon and often is a welcome relief from some of our hotter summer days.

This breeze can become quite strong and is ideal for sail boarding off the shore all along our coastline. Today the wind came in early but was not as strong as the sailors would have liked.

When I was on the beach most were packing up their boards. Only a very few remained sailing, hoping the wind would freshen.

Today was however a typical summer's day, light breezes in the morning and a temperature of 30 degrees, peaking around 1.00pm. Great weather for almost everything.
