Mary&John at Áras an Uachtaráin

Mary's 37 years of teaching service and teacher education was recognised today by a visit to meet the President of Ireland at Áras an Uachtaráin (President's House); a great honour and a little thank you.
Part of the welcome had a wonderful mime artist as we passed through the entrance.
She is keeping an eye on two former presidents; the one on the extreme left shown here being Eamon De Valera.
Mary got a chance to meet many old colleagues and to tell them about Malawi and Wells for Zoë. It looks like there is serious interest from a number of her retired mates.
