There is no happy ending to my blip today.

We found this beautiful fellow laying face down on our lawn, still alive, this afternoon.

Looking at the state of his face he has obviously hit or been hit by something. He was laying by a tree but I find it hard to believe that such a remarkable example of nature as this, would just fly into a tree.

I took him to the vets, sadly after a good look at him, the vet decided he had probably broke his neck and was paralysed.

The vet took him out the back to put him down.

Thats my Mother-in-Laws finger nail by the way, not mine.
