Tree decoration
Thank you for all your very kind words over the past few days. happy to say John is recovering very well after his operation yesterday. At the moment he is " watching " his favourite programme ,Mash, as he does the crossword (a nightly feature in our house )
We had a very uneventful journey home which is a miracle considering John wasn't allowed to drive and he is definitely the world's worst passenger. Yes it's a miracle he survived and wasn't throttled before leaving Glasgow and sent back to A & E. What is it with husbands that they have to constantly tell you how to drive?
Anyway today wasn't really a blip day so after settling down for a well earned rest I thought I'd better get my act together. Not much doing so I had an idea on the back burner to blip another of our adult children's tree decorations. This felt Christmas tree was made by our son 34 years a go when he was just 6 . I still remember the day he came home from school and proudly presented it to me.
AS you can see it is still holding together , only just if you look closely. So I played around and altered the background. I quite like the effect- might make it into a Christmas card next year.
Sorry forgot to say thanks for all the stars and favourites over the last two days and so delighted to get both the blips into the spotlight. Thanks again everyone , will need to catch up with everyone but definitely going to bed early to catch up on all the sleep I missed - funny how you can only sleep really well in your own bed.
