Great times...

Day two of our London trip and another glorious day. My slight hangover was soon blown away by a long stroll down by the Thames, past the london eye and up past the oxo tower.

Another trip to the winter wonderland and yet more mulled wine and festive food.

The day/trip went so smoothly and we even managed to do Hyde park to Cambridge in two hours (which is some achievement with 3 tired children, a suitcase and a detour back to the hotel) so inevitably something had to go wrong, as was the case when we discovered we had left the house/car keys back at the hotel whilst we approached Cambridge. Livid.

Two expensive taxi trips later and a frantic call to the cleaner (who has a key) and at last, I can relax. Consolation being the lack of parking fine for the car's two day stay at Cambridge station so every cloud and all that...

Overall, a great trip, even better than last years Christmas trip to Paris. Cheers!
