Christmas toes....

If you know me at all, you will have realized that I'm usually a no-nonsense, down-to-earth kind of person - not much for fripperies and self admiration, but hey, It's Christmas and I had a rare extra $20 in my wallet, so took myself to have a pedicure this morning.

The older I get, the more difficult it becomes to reach my toes to do a good job of maintaining them in a healthy way, so the occasional pedicure becomes a sensible treat. The fact that one's toes can sparkle a bit is the icing on the cake!
