Dylan's lexicon and prayer book

This CD has been my companion now for a few weeks when making stuff for the Gräsö exhibition! It's a compilation of great old Dylan favorites from his radio program: Theme Time Radio Hour.

He says on the cover sleeve Those old songs are my lexicon and my prayer book It contains 50 songs of blues, R´n R, jazz, country, many of them origanals i've never heard before. some of them, although being recorded in the 40ies or 50ies seem to have high actuality. Like these from a song of Dinah Washington - "Richest guy in the graveyard":

You'd be the richest guy in the graveyard, with money on the bank
Now what's the good about it
with no time for spending
now your heading for a horizontal ending

You're the richest guy in the graveyard so daddy will you please slow down
can't take it with you
I'd rather be old without any gold
than have the undertaker take me under his control
and be the richest guy in the graveyard.......
