Leith South Parish Church
Cutting across south Leith from the links to the shops can mean a trip through Leith South Parish Church's cemetery.
This church has a long (greater than 500 years) history and has seen attacks by various English Monarchs and their armies.
I like the juxtaposition of this ancient place with the tower blocks and brutalist modernism that surround it.
Although the churchyard has witnessed great desolation through its history it seems a safe harbour from many of its current surroundings.
I must try to get a better blip angle someday.
Hope everyone is enjoying the countdown to Christmas.
