This little walk way takes me down to the 'foreshore walk', which is great for wet days as it can all be done on decent paths, without the added extras of cow poo negotiation, which is what you'll find if you take the longer route.

Bit of an emotional morning, I think the Xmas family time thing highlights opposing pulls between loving & wanting to be with Hubs and Y here in West Cork versus the unconditional love of wonderful family back in old blightly.

Had a lovely couple of hours drinking port & cooking while M gave wise council.We spent the evening with travellersjoy & Rachel stuffing ourselves on a big Roast leg of lamb, (H&G's organic hoggett - far superior to lamb), mince pies, figs soaked in port with Greek yoghurt & honey and handmade chocolate, the festive season has definatley kicked off. Hubs and I had obvious food babies! Light diet tomorrow for us, only one mince pie per day.
