Early today

This is an early time for me to blip, but I started early this morning with a trip to Hexham at 0800 to shop. The sun was just rising and the sky was on fire. I parked on the road to Oakwood and then walked beside the A69 until I had a good view of our local chip board factory. The smoke that rises is white, but shows as a black silhouette in this image. It was too good to miss.

I did the shopping while the supermarkets were quiet. I have 3 images to mount for the Photo club tonight (they are for a presentation in January) and I have to make a large fruit salad for the Christmas party tonight.

Afterthought: I think that's a dragon in the smoke, or do my eyes deceive me?
