An Old Fashioned Christmas

The tree is up, now to get wrapping done!! The decorations date back to 1960. Hubbies work transferred him to Key West, Florida in 1960 when I was very pregnant with daughter Annie. We drove from California to Key West during the summer. A rather miserable trip considering my condition. We didn't have much in the way of decorations for our tree yet so hubby agreed to take care of the baby while older daughter Debbie and I went shopping for decorations. I let her pick out the manger scene and the angel for the top. It has been a treasure. Brings back such special memories each Christmas season. The rest of the decorations are from years ago, plus a few more each year. The younger kids love my "old fashioned" decorations. I have several pictures of "little ones" laying down rearranging the animals for the manger scene. Maybe I can get one of our little Matthew this year. If so, I'll blip it!!
