Crimbo Lecture
One of the highlights for me each Christmas is to sit down and watch the Royal Institution Christmas Lectures. It's just one of those things that has been as much a part of the seasonal festivities as turkey or The Great Escape. This year's topic Meet Your Brain promises to be another fascinating delve into science.
Anywho, tonight's blips very, very tenuous connection was taken from our own annual "Christmas Lecture" which is in reality more a moan debate about our various job/life situations entitled The Grass is Greener. Representing the current staff was Mr. D and myself with the former pupils made up of reversepolarity and Mr. H.
As always, the debate was a fast and furious riposte of anecdote following repartee, which started in the Malt Shovel on Cockburn Street, followed by a wee buffet at Jimmy Chung's on Waverly Bridge (including crackers) and ending with a nightcap at the Guildford Arms on West Register Street.
Great night out with lots of banter!
Another first for me on the camera front too. This is the first upload of an image from gizmo. Still to see what it looks like "big" so that option might be edited out on the blip, depending on the quality.
I've got some special thank you's to send tonight so I might not get round to everyone's blips tonight. If not, will catch up tomorrow.
Have a good Tuesday everyone!
