Roller Coaster Ride
When we arrived this morning we were told the Cygnet was a grumpy bum who had been up half the night due to sore teeth.
He has been on great form.
We went to get some cat food this morning and he was delighted at being able to go and visit the rabbits again .... chatting away to them and ooing and ahhing.
Then we ahd a great time looking ta things in the Hobbycraft shop ........ no causing mayhem of throwing stuff about - just more ooing and ahhing and delighting the staff.
After that it was a decent walk (for him) to the electronic shop and back, delighting in everything he saw from cars (and there were a lot of cars) to magic shop doors that opened when he got near them, to fag butts (and there were loads of them).
Back home and a couple of pancakes went down his neck in double quick time - a sleep - lunch - playing on his rocking deer - hugging the cat - reading - you name it.
As soon as Mum got home .............. tears.
Mum they have been cruel and beating me all day.
The little liar.
Our friends up side of the rollercoaster has been short lived.
She was worse today than she was on Saturday and there would appear to be some bad 'medical' choices being made - not by her family but by the paliative care folk (which comes as a surprise).
They seem to be working from a flow chart for 'standard' cancer downward spirals.
Unfortunately she isn't 'standard' (even her oncologist says she is unique) or working from the same flow chart.
Todays new medication ............ 1 tablet to be taken at her regular bed time (which she doesn't have).
These will kick in in about 8-10 days and will help her dimentia type symptoms ...............
The chances of her surviving 8 days is looking very unlikely
There are moves afoot to have the oncologist make a house call tomorrow - I am not holding my breath on getting 'the top man' to leave his nice cozy office on his home turf and come out in the cold to visit a family who are going to give him a hard time.
I will keep you posted.
