The day after the mincemeat

The day after making the mincemeat I decided to make mince pies using a new recipe for pastry.

I have to say - in all honesty - these were probably the best mince pies I have ever had.

Relatives will be fortunate to get to taste over the holiday season.

And I will never buy mince pies from the supermarket again either!
