Grey day

When I woke this morning, it was dark but the skies looked clear and the roads were white with frost. As I took hubby to work, I saw a tinge of pink where the sun was about to peep over the horizon, but the frost had vanished and then the clouds rolled in. So here is not the stunning winter landscape I'd hoped for, but just an ordinary grey day.
