OWL!

Today I did a spot of falconry. My boyfriend bought me a day experience for my Christmas/Birthday, so we drove to Cheshire to trade in the voucher 6 months later!

Because it was my experience I didn't take many pictures (Paul was my 'spectator' but seemed more interested in taking videos) but I did take a picture of this lady in between sessions. She kept teasing me by opening her big orange eyes but I kept missing or getting the grate of the aviary in the way and I didn't want to go too close.

Falconry is well cool though, although I got more excited by the Eagle Owls than the hawks/falcons/buzzards. I did get to have a big eagle land on my arm... ouch!
