Woke up this morning.

And there's a big red car in our driveway. This was something I thought I'd never see, my UK car out here with me.

UK plates are going to stay on for the foreseeable though, even when the new US plates do arrive. Cops don't care, and I don't drive in such a way to get pulled, plus the car is just about legal on the road anyway (it's insured and the driver is licensed being the main two things).

But it is sure odd to look outside and see "my" car sitting there, although I'm not sure my wife appreciates the sudden demarcation of "my car" and "her car".
