Christmas is coming!

It's so nice that, even though I'm here in Turkey, there is a real Christmas build up going on here. Ok, so here it's in aid of New Year, but you really wouldn't know. This is part of the Christmassy display up in our classroom. Even the fireplace is homemade!
Yesterday I went to my first Christmas gathering if the season, Friday is carol singing at a beachside restaurant, Saturday is the Christmas show that the staff put on for the kids and parents, Saturday evening is the staff do, then we have Christmas day followed by a boxing day party for the international community. Phew!!! I will definitely feel like I've "done" Christmas this year. Now I just need to find some Christmas wrapping paper and stocking fillers!
