Looking back from the bridge

I decided to take a stroll over the Hidd Bridge this morning to have a look at the new Prince Khalifa Bin Salmon Park that's just opened. Some friends have mentioned that all they see on my pictures is the Hidd bridge taken from my flat so now this is a view of my flat from the bridge! The building on the far left is the Bahrain Specialist Hospital and the one next to it is our block of flats. As you can see Juffair is made up of high rise buidings, a bit of a concrete jungle, but having the see as a front garden makes up for it.

I ended up walking all the way to the new Lulu Hypermarket which is FAR ! and then had to walk all the way back, which is even further! So now I'm prostate on my bed watching the Dhows coming home from their days fishing. Let me tell you the wind is blowing gales again today but still in short sleeves and a very pleasant temperature for a winters day!
