Half Portrait

Taken at West Moor Camera Club using a new lighting rig which included a single softbox, umbrellas etc

Placed the softbox to the left of the model and placed a flash directly behind me to show as catch lights in the models eye.

This is my first attempt at portraiture using modeling lights etc so I hope you like the result

Taken with a gripped Canon EOS 5D MkII and Canon 70-200 F2.8L IS at 160mm ~ 1/6 sec ~ F2.8 ~ ISO50 ~ Pattern metering.

Converted picture to black and white, adjusted various channels including red, yellow and magenta, smoothed skin using Portraiture plugin for CS5 and sharpened using high pass filter
