Are you going to throw that stick?

We went to Lady Mary's Walk today. The ground was very hard and all the churned up mud from previous days was rock hard. Bruce loves to have sticks thrown and this keeps him entertained as well as very well exercised!

The long avenue of beech trees provides some shelter from the cold. It was very nice to see some ducks on the river today and we also met several groups of people out enjoying the crisp cold weather. Two cyclists went past us at a leisurely pace followed by a third cyclist some time later. There was clear evidence that the countryside rangers had been at work with their saws as the trees that had fallen in the recent gales had been sawn up into manageable pieces and cleared from the paths.
