not yet a meltdown

Decorating the tree was a pretty serious business today. Mattie chose it himself (the widest tree in the wood) but it fits pretty nicely in the fireplace, and he sawed the trunk off to the right length and screwed it into the stand. The day was lovely, lots of woodwork and christmas decorations and then all together decorating the presents with paint stamps and glitter. Of course the day ended in a meltdown because the whole Christmas thing is just too much to deal with. But tomorrow is another day...
