Something smells fishy

We reached the otter enclosure just before feeding time - there was a great deal of squeaking! Otters are fantastic creatures, and are much bigger than I remember them being, with lovely big paws and fat, long tails. And those whiskers!

F and I hired a car and drove down to the New Forest, going to the otter, owl and wildlife park along the way (we couldn't NOT go in). I particularly liked the tiny harvest mice, and I'm sure I would have liked the Skomer vole and water vole if they had made an appearance. We then left the nature park and drove to the sea, where we sat on the beach and were buffetted by the wind in the sun while gazing over the sea to the Isle of Wight. Perfect.
