watching you watching me

A busy day relaxing. After yesterdays hectic running about we decided today would be a doing nothing day.
It started well as I slept in until nearly 8am. We then walked to local shop for eggs (forgot them yesterday and you can't do weekend breakfast without eggs) and the newspaper. As it was such a loverly morning, cold with a frost but very blue sky we extended the walk and explored a little of the town. Ended up walking through a park where this imposing camera was located. Is a camera in a park supposed to make you feel at ease or never want to set foot in the park again?
Back home it was time for huge breakfast but had to hurry or it would break into lunch time and it was going to be soup for lunch. After breakfast and papers it was time to build a couple of ikea purchased chairs and a lamp, frame a picture, vacuum the lounge and wrap a couple of Christmas presents. That done and it was indeed lunch time. After lunch I fitted a utensil rail in the kitchen and fixed the leaking olive oil dispenser.
Tea and crisps with more paper reading late afternoon then it was time to prep the dinner. Roast pork tonight should be ready in half an hour.!
