The Final Zodiac Ride

Our standard (indeed only) way of getting on and off the Plancius over the last two weeks has been by Zodiac.

In almost every case we've done this in the sheltered bays around South Georgia, and if the wind has been high, we've stayed on the ship. The final excusion of the trip was to the shops (and in some cases the pubs) of Stanley. I finished my 'shopping' early and retreated to the bridge of the Plancius to watch some of the later zodiacs buzzing back through the 40+ knot winds. Suspect that a few souvenirs got a bit water-logged.
