Records of the year

In a decent year for music, The Decemberists is the album of the year, for me.

Other good stuff in 2011? Wire, PJ Harvey, Josh T Pearson, Fleet Foxes, Ryan Adams, Tom Waits, Mogwai, King Creosote, Beirut and Magazine.

However...the Smiths remasters have probably been listened to more than anything else.

Still sounding brilliant after 25 years.
