first snow

it's a lovely sight, so calm and serene. kind of fits my state of mind - after the christmas frenzy i closed all our online shops yesterday and am slowly ticking off the last orders that came in. it's so refreshing to see the end of the to-do-list after i sometimes felt like my head is going to explode in the last couple of weeks. way too much to do for 24 hours. now it's time to bake bread, make christmas presents and write all the letters, emails and postcards i wanted to write several days ago. feels like christmas season for the first time this year.
