Nearly cutting our communications......

At the moment Hanover street is being prepared for the closure of Princes Street later this year so that contractors can replace/ move the utilities that run under the street.
With Princes Street being closed all traffic will be routed along George street. Currently they are digging, drilling and generally making a hell of a racket outside my office window - driving me to distraction.
As I peered out my wind I saw this rather puny green tube holding a bit of black COAX cable.....that's our phone lines for the office! With all that heavy machinery out there I am just waiting for them to accidently *cut* the cable and plunge us into the stone age.

It also seems that queeny is in town this week. She also passed my window (along with her huuuge escort). My attempts to capture this were poor to beyond a joke! This I thought was more fun :-)
