Melting Trail

The snow is finally starting to melt. It doesn't usually stick around this long, it's kind of nice. You can clearly see Taku's 'patrol route' through the snow. I had to go take a second round of pictures because she had left a package of wasp bait that she tried to eat right in the middle of my photo!

I got in the holiday baking groove today. I seem to have screwed up the fudge again this year. It still tastes good, but it is more of a chocolate caramel than fudge. At least it's better than the year that I had chocolate molasses. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
